#6 Replace Gliese data with Hipparcos

In shooting for realism, it would be cool to get our
hands on the Hipparcos star catalogue, just released a
couple of years ago from the ESA. The data was
gathered by a satellite over a period of 3-4 years, if
I recall, and is far more complete and accurate than
Gliese. This would probably make the statistical
random filler that Jim added in for Starmap 1.0
unnecessary.

This would be a simple(?) matter of getting the
catalogue in text form and running it through a munging
script to get it into whatever format we use (I imagine
we'll be using the old 1.0 format for the time being?).

    Thanks, David- I'll look into this- also into perhaps
    retrieving the original Gliese data (if it isn't in there
    already- I do remember seeing some directories in there
    somewhere).
