Ships - Overview

Ships will be constructed of 3 main Ship Sections, 3 Critical Ship Modules, and Several Offensive/Defensive Modules, Production Modules, Resource Based Modules and Misc Modules.
Ship Hulls will be classified on a rough 1 - 8 size Ship Class.

- Cockpit / Bridge
- Hull
- Engines

Critical Modules;
- Life Support System
- Targeting System
- Reactor

Defensive Modules;
- Armour
- Shields
- Evasive Thrusters
- Cloaking System

Offensive Modules;
Offensive Modules come in 2 Flavors, Fixed and Turreted,
Fixed;
- Ballistic Based Weaponry
- Hyper Sonic Based Weaponry
- Laser Based Weaponry
- Plasma Based Weaponry
- Explosive Weaponry

Turreted;
- All Fixed
- 'Linked' Weaponry
* E.g. Dual Linked Ballistic Cannons
- 'Classified' Weaponry
* Don't have a name for this type yet, but it is generally a supped up angry version.

Misc Modules;
- Docking Bays
For docking fighter class ships.
- Drone Bays
For docking and launching multiple 'Automated' fighter's
- TBA

Production Modules;
To produce things like more FIGHTERS!
- Fighter Factory
- Training Facility
- etc...

Resource Based Modules;
For gathering or increasing the resource pool.
- Asteroid Mining Facility
- Purifying Factory
- Fuel re-cycling or something
- etc...
