The Linux CD/DVD archiving project / News: Recent posts

Today the Stakker project released it's first distribution of software. With this software it is possible to control the working of an Imation Disc Stakka on the Linux platform. The software consists of a small C++ server program that uses libusb and a python client program to talk to the server and issue commands.

The Linux Disc Stakka hereby formally announces its existence. Sofar we are tracing usb traffic to be able to develop a driver or userspace app. As soon as we've got something to show we'll let you all know.

Off course, people with info usefull to the project are more than welcome to come forward with it :-)
