i´ve been going through documentation,
but i cant find that service:
report about how much my test took on ressources: cpu …
is it possible at all ?
We don't provide a STAF service that gets information about resource utilization (e.g. cpu and memory usage). You could possibly write a STAF service yourseft that does that useing available system commands and tools or perhaps use the STAF PROCESS service to run commands that obtain this information.
You can google for ways to get this information (which will vary depending on the operating system). For example, on Windows you could use the "typeperf" command to get CPU and memory utilization information. See http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb490960.aspx and http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2415085/is-it-possible-to-know-the-cpu-utilization-from-command-line for more information on typeperf.
To track memory usage on Linux for a program, see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/860878/tracking-actively-used-memory-in-linux-programs/872456#872456.
