    Does STAF support python 3.4?

I haven't built or tested STAF Python support for Python 3.4 yet. However, a STAF user has already opened feature request #754 "Support Python 3.4" asking to provide support for Python 3.4 as part of the STAF installation packages that we provide. In this feature request, they said that they were able to successfully build STAF support for Python 3.4 (I assume following the instructions we provide in the STAF Developer's Guide at http://staf.sourceforge.net/current/stafdg.html#Header_buildPython) and they were able to create a STAF handle and use it to submit STAF service requests using Python 3.4 without any issues. They tested using Windows 7 64 bit, Python 3.4.2, and STAF 3.4.19. For more information on this, see feature request #754 "Support Python 3.4" at https://sourceforge.net/p/staf/feature-requests/754/. I have not yet had a chance to start working on this feature request but I plan to in the future.

Note that the list of Python versions that STAF provides pre-compiled support for are documented in section "2.0 Supported Platforms and Python Versions" in the STAF Python User's Guide at http://staf.sourceforge.net/current/STAFPython.htm#Header_PlatformsVersions.
