There's a typo in the error message output when starting STAFProc with a "SET DEFAULTAUTHENTICATOR IBM" statement in the STAF.cfg file that tries to set the default authenticator to an authenticator that does not exist. For example, if you put the "SET DEFAULTAUTHENTICATOR IBM" line BERORE you registered an authenticator named IBM. It outputs:
Error setting the DEFAULTINTERFACE operational parameter in line:
set defaultinterface tcp
Error code: 48
Reason : Invalid DEFAULTINTERFACE because interface 'tcp; is not registered
Error in configuration file: C:\STAF\bin\STAF.cfg
Note that the typo is that it is specifying 'tcp; instead of 'tcp'.
