After having been an enthusiastic user of StadenPackage + phred/phrap on 32-bit environment, I recently moved on 64-bit environment. Now come the troubles...Even if everything seems to be ok with the main program installation (on a Ubuntu workstation and a Rocks 16 cpus cluster), I cannot get gcphrap working, and the assembly stops after the crossmatch step in the pregap4 assembly process.
Is there something I should know to compile in the right way phrap on the 64-bit environment?
(I already changed the CC value in the makefile to CC= gcc-3.4: seems to be the only compiler that works without too many errors...)
Thanks in advance, and sorry if this is not the right forum to post my question.
