Problems compiling on Scientific Linux 5.2

  • Denis Wollenhaupt

    Hi Folks

I need your help. I spent hours trying to compile gap5 in Scientific Linux 5.2 (64Bit)  from staden-2.0.0b7-src.tar.gz with io_lib-1.12.4.tar.gz sources.

Configure runs successful, but make install fails. Does anyone have a clue, what happens here?

    External packages used:

BTW: I had exactly the same result trying with OpenSuse 11.3.

    Thanks a lot,

Between configure and make install you have to compile the Staden Project with make.
