Caio Northfleet sez:
| When booting, the root node hangs (freeze) when on step:
| RAMDISK: compressed image found at block 0
Could you tell me what was the exact command used to create the
initrd? Also, when the kernel hangs, probably, you could press the
Pause/Break key to get into kdb. You could then type in bt to get the
backtrace. Could you send that onto the list?
| Something about the environment: the root node has an integrated
| network interface (Intel and uses the eepro100 module) and a non-root
| node has a 3com interface (as I found uses the 3c59x module).
| On the root I have created the boot image using
| --with=eepro100 --with=mii --with=3c59x
| It is just a matter of putting the modules names on it or should I
| have the modules present when creating the boot image? I guess I
| I tried to rebuild the image removing the 'mii' and '3c59x' module
| just to use the 'eepro100' with the root node and the image hangs
| in the same point.
The above shouldn't matter.
