You could call it that. There are a few features left to be added, such
as David Zafman's clusterwide RC script mechanism. We'll probably cut a
0.9.9 release in another week or so with the new stuff. Once it is
reasonably stable, we'll declare 1.0.

The binary RPMs were built against RH8's glibc, and probably won't work
on RH9. It might work, however, if you build your own RPMs on RH9 from
the source RPM packages (openssi-rh-0.9.8.src.tar). Nevertheless, you
will be taking a step backward in the version numbers of the kernel and
various base utilities. This probably won't be a big problem, but it's
not ideal. It's possible that we'll merge up to the RH9 versions of
everything for the 0.9.9 release. Another developer is looking into this.
