OpenSSI replaces a few pieces of the base distribution (to make it more
SSI) so there are different packages for different distributions. To
do a distribution other than RH9, FC2 or Debian you would have to adapt
the changes we make to the distribution you want. This is what is
ongoing to get a Suse version available.

Or to ask it another way , why are there separate openssi rpms
for different linux distributions ? How do I get an openssi rpm to work
for any distribution I want ?
