This does not affect filesystem traffic. It is required for NFS client file locking to use the nodename, since NFS client is actually done by each node individually. All internal filesystem traffic will still use the secondary (interconnect) interface. The secondary (interconnect) interface shouldn't be able to see any NFS servers, since you don't mount NFS between cluster nodes. As far as the cluster operating as an NFS server, only the LVS (cluster virtual IP address) interface which is on the initnode can be used as the NFS server address. This would also be associated with the primary (external) interface. The name of the LVS interface is the "clustername" which was prompted for during SSI installation on the first node. -- David B.
