Since DRBD checks if the hostname of the machine is the same as specified in drbd.conf I had to modify the linuxrc file in the initrd: - mount the initrd via loopfs on /initrd - copy /bin/hostname executable in /init/bin/ - echo "myhost.mydomain.org" > /initrd/etc/hostname - add in /initrd/linuxrc before any DRBD stuff : "hostname -F /etc/hostname" Very simple, there's probably a better way involving $HOSTNAME but I wanted to get job done :) I'm using OpenSSI 1.9.1 and DRBD 0.7.14 on Fedora Core 3 PS: Sorry about my verbosity but if someone gets in the same trouble maybe I can be of some help Be Seeying You Wally |
