Running XP Pro SP2 on a 2.80 Gig Intel Pentium with 512
Megs of ram. I've notice this sporadically. All I do
is restart both servers and the problem goes away. I
don't know what's causing
it...

OH, running version v3.8.1p1-1

I have the same problem on Windows 2000 sp4, sollution is also the
same, restart the service and everything works again. It happens to me
when I sart the service for the first time after a fresh reboot.

    I have amd64 3200+ 1 gig ram.
    Running v3.8.1p1-1

Got the very same problem, cygrunsrv.exe & sshd.exe from
v3.8.1p1-1 hogging the CPU after system startup.

After putting in \OpenSSH\bin\ the libraries cygintl-2.dll and
cygintl-3.dll missing in the distribution package to work
aorund bug #1286157, this problem has also gone away. I
have restarted that system several times since then, and the
services have had a clean start every time.

So the absence of cygintl-2 & cygintl-3 libraries seems to be
    the cause for this misbehaviour.
