I tried to upload OpenSSH generated private key, and it says "Unable to connect. Invalid SSH Key. The key format is not a supported format" Does it really works?

  Without key authentication sshwebproxy works great for me.

  A friend of mine got it working. He change the j2ssh-core in sshwebproxy.war to the latest version.
  
  After changing you will have do deploy the war file again...
