Hope this project is not dead! It is a huge productivity tool without
similar alternative. I am trying to install/build/run sshmenu-gnome on a
fresh Linux Mint 15. When I try to install via apt I get this:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
sshmenu-gnome : Depende: libgnome2-ruby which is a virtual package.
Depende: libpanel-applet2-ruby which is a virtual package.
Depende: libgconf2-ruby which is a virtual package.
Depende: gnome-terminal but it is not going to be
installed.
The following actions will resolve these dependencies:
Keep the following packages at their current version:
1) sshmenu-gnome [Not Installed]

No luck. So downloaded source, make'd, cp'd according to manual
installation docs, and when run I get this:
$ sshmenu-gnome
/usr/lib/ruby/1.8/gnome-sshmenu.rb:2:in `require': no such file to load
-- gconf2 (LoadError)
from /usr/lib/ruby/1.8/gnome-sshmenu.rb:2
from /usr/bin/sshmenu-gnome:3:in `require'
from /usr/bin/sshmenu-gnome:3
