[SSHGuard-users] Connection to ssh is an "attack"?

Hi,

Running 2.3.1 on Ubuntu 20.04.

I noticed from the logs that simply connecting to sshd counts as an 
"attack", before I even enter my password. So ssh'ing, ctrl-c'ing before 
doing anything, then repeating a few times locks out that IP.

Is this intentional?
