[Ssh-sftp-perl-users] Net::SFTP unable to handle '^' in a password?

Good day:
It seems that a Net::SFTP->new(host,%hash) is failing when the
password contains a '^'. I have no easy way to test this due to our
circumstances here. We can log in to the remote server from the command
line. When the script is run and Net::SFTP->new is called, I see the
correct password being handed to it with the perl debugger.
It just seems like I would have seen something here if that was the
case.
