[Ssh-sftp-perl-users] Trapping "Can't connect" messages

Hi all.

When I try to connect to a host that ssh isn't running on, for some
reason, I am getting the following:

Can't connect to xxxxxxx, port 22: Connection refused at
/opt/perl_32/lib/site_perl/5.8.8/Net/SSH/Perl.pm line 205.

How do I go about trapping that error that the script just continues or I
continues in another direction?
