I've seen the same thing =E2=80=94 slow transfer speeds and frequent aborts=
 with large
(>2GB?) files =E2=80=94 but due to time constraints ended up working around=
 it by
scripting =C2=AB/usr/bin/sftp=C2=BB instead.

I did not test it sufficiently extensively to put the blame on Net::SFTP; i=

may be related to other factors, but my distinct impression was that this w=

the case.
