[Ssh-sftp-perl-users] sftp and large files?

Are there any known issues using this module with large files?  I need to 
copy files that are between 10 and 50GB.  I've tried running a test sftp 
process several times and I've never been able to get more than about 11GB 
across.  And the speed is horrenduously slow.  It took about 2 hours to 
sftp that 11GB across (compared to a normal sftp process between the same 
machines which will transfer the same amount in about 10 minutes).
