I recently tried running SS-Backup on a friend's Windows 8 machine, but it crashes before the GUI appears.

I'll fix it as soon as I have more permanent access to a Windows 8 machine. At present all my machines run Windows 7.

I recently acquired a Windows 8.1 machine. The problem is the folder tree control: if I comment out everything to do with it, the program works.

I'll sort it out as soon as I can...

SS-Backup now works on Windows 8 and 8.1
