I was wondering when I found out that epithets are
useless if the affected person is not network staff. So
I made epithets work for non-staff users.
Example:
14:12:20| : bruder2k- (ident@host) has joined #epithet
14:12:26| : Msg (chanserv) - register #epithet bruder2k
force
14:12:26| : ChanServ (ChanServ@Services.testnet.net)
has joined #epithet
14:12:26| : testnet.net sets mode: +o ChanServ
14:12:26| ChanServ - You now have ownership of #epithet.
14:12:26| Global - #epithet registered to bruder2k by
bruder2k.
14:12:37| (@bruder2k) !a bruder2k-
14:12:37| ChanServ - bruder2k- (bruder3k) lacks access
to #epithet.
14:13:05| : Msg (authserv) - oset bruder2k- epithet a
real cool test-client
14:13:05| AuthServ - EPITHET: a real cool test-client
14:13:09| (@bruder2k) !a bruder2k-
14:13:09| ChanServ - bruder2k- is a real cool
test-client (user).
14:13:09| ChanServ - bruder2k- (bruder3k) lacks access
to #epithet.
14:13:17| : Msg (authserv) - oset bruder2k- epithet *
14:13:17| AuthServ - EPITHET: None
14:13:20| (@bruder2k) !a bruder2k-
14:13:20| ChanServ - bruder2k- (bruder3k) lacks access
to #epithet.
I think this function could be usefull if you want
certain users to get a "rank" but don't make them staff
(f.i. if your network offers a radio and you want the
DJ's to be recognised).

Nice patch, does also work for 1.3.1 - thanks!
