1. Download srvx-1.2rc5.
2. Unpack srvx and put the patch into the directory,
which contains the srvx-1.2rc5 directory. Do NOT copy
the patch into the srvx directory !
3. To patch srvx, simply type "patch -p0 <
TrialHelper.patch" in the directory, which contains the
srvx directory and the patch file.
4. Type "./configure" , "make" (and "make install").
5. Change the configfile and execute srvx.
Overview:
Allows TrialHelpers to use "/msg nickserv handleinfo
<*account>" to get the full handleinfo.
TrialHelper = user, who has trial access at the helpserv
bot, which is in support_channel. The trial MUST be in
support_channel to get all account information.
Due to security risks, a TrialHelper can't get the full
handleinfo of a helper or an ircop.
