Summary: Some channels don't work....

Initial Comment:
have a friend join #[M] and make whatever topic. Then, 
whois him, right click #[M], and click show topic. in 
status I get "#[M No such channel" (it leaves off the ])

I'm using mIRC 6.03 on the gamesurge network.
