Bugs item #955022, was opened at 2004-05-16 16:45 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=403001&aid=955022&group_id=31654 Category: NickServ Group: 1.3 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: infract (infract) Assigned to: Entrope (entrope) Summary: Users authing to your account message Initial Comment: I have noticed a slightly incomplete behaviour which occurs on recovery from a netsplit. I just noticed this on Gamesurge. (-ChanServ- srvx 1.3 (surge), Built: May 14 2004, 12:51:34.) I have 3 clients connected to the network, all of which are authenticated to account infract. AuthServ's whois confirms this: [ AuthServ ] Current nickname(s): MiDrop infract nate (This will be explained from the perspective of the connection with nickname infract) When MiDrop, or nate connect and auth, i see the message, [ AuthServ ] Warning: MiDrop (~Mi...@S0...) authed to your account. However after a netsplit recovery, it seems that AuthServ does not iterate through a loop to discover all clients currently using my account, it only displays the first one. Example: 16:33 * @ChanServ (Cha...@Se...) Quit (*.net *.split) 16:36 [ AuthServ ] Warning: MiDrop (~Mi...@S0...) authed to your account. 16:36 * Join: ChanServ (Cha...@Se...) » 30 people 16:36 * Icarus.OH.US.GameSurge.net sets mode: +o ChanServ I don't know for sure, but I suspect that it only finds the nickname which comes first in the alphabet. If I fail to notice a reply in this thread, you guys are welcome to contact me via irc, or e-mail. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=403001&aid=955022&group_id=31654 |
