[srvx-devel] srvx-1.2rc4 released

We have released srvx-1.2rc4 (CVS tag rel-1_2rc4).  This isn't so much
a real "release candidate" as a new snapshot -- we are still seeing
crashes on GamesNET due to unknown problems -- but a sufficient number
of bugs have been fixed that we want to provide a new release to
non-CVS users.

If you provide a distribution mirror of srvx, we ask that you remove
older releases from your download page(s).  If you follow
srvx-commits, you can probably guess why.  We are not happy about
having to ask this, but feel it is only appropriate.  (In addition,
some users download 1.1.3 thinking it is the best release to use; we
believe 1.2rc4 is more polished overall.)
