as the topic says ... 

!expire always adds an entry to the timeq (with the configured expire freq) so triggering a manual expire more often results in the timeq being filled up and expire check being done more often

this happens because in expire_channels there is always the timeq entry added, no matter if it was called from the timeq or because of !expire
