This function would ideally just be a core feature of
srvx. Wether this feature would be implimented to
become something that is toggled inside OperServ or not
is purely up to the developers at this point.
Large networks and those networks that particularly
interest people who are of malicious intent draw crowds
of unsavory users who exploit things like umode_x in ircu
for their own purposes.
My suggestion, would be to create a function similar to
that of many BotNET OpServ scripts in order to allow
NickServOpServ to commonly work together to detect
activity on comitted through NickServ that might be
considered a "BotNET" design.
example output:
-OpServ- Potential BotNET registration detected on:
NickServ (asdfgh)
-OpServ- Potential BotNET registration detected on:
NicKServ (GSurgeSucks)
Similarly, NickServ registration could simply be removed
from the core functions of srvx in favor of web-
registration however..not many Networks are able to do
something such as this so the need for a detection or
prevention of mulitple registrations/erroneous/falsified
registrations becomes evident.
