I think that it would be somewhat helpful to have a
nickserv setting for a question and answer to be used
for say resetting a password, allowing a user to auth to
an account with a different hostmask, and other
instances where security can be an issue. If the user is
given the chance to set a question and answer, like on
many sites such as yahoo and hotmail, it would be
easier to verify that the user was really who they said
they were. The option could be completely optional, and
could be recommended after the user has had their
password changed and such. It could also be
documented as part of the register command,
say /nickserv register account password email question
answer. /nickserv set question and /nickserv set answer
could also be options for use after an account has been
created. /nickserv accountinfo would then be able to
show this information, say right under the info line. I just
think that this feature would be helpful in some cases,
and again could just be completely optional.
