[Srcpd-devel] Parport IO ports for S88

Dear all,

trying to use an S88 bus via a PCI parallel port extension, I've noticed
that srcpd will currently reject any other values for the IO port than the
legacy 0x278, 0x378 and 0x3bc (the old parport (Linux) / LPT (Windows)
addresses.

However, if you use anything but built-in parallel ports, your adapter will
probably provide you with different (fixed) IO ports. I see no reason to
keep the check for the old legacy addresses either.

I've found a Rocrail forum thread from 10 years ago where someone describes
the same issue. Rocrail has since changed this sanity check and now allows
any address.

Do you see a way to fix this for srcpd as well?
