Hi ! Problem is that i cant add subfolders to other folders anymore with version 1.4.0 - with 1.2.11 it worked fine. After you add folder with subfolder-option it adds folder itself to server but you cant add any folders into that - it wont show up to the listing... old subfolders are shown (added with previous squirrelmail version) but you cant add new folders to those anymore... Using redhat 7.3, squirrelmail 1.4.0 with mysql... Anyone else had that problem ? -- Jassu |

I'm guessing you're using UW-IMAP. When you create the folder, try adding a / on the end of the folder name. For example: test/ You should then be able to create folders inside it. I believe there used to be a check box in 1.2.11 that gave you the option to create folders that allowed subfolders. -- Jonathan Angliss (jo...@sq...) |

Hi ! Yes im using UW-IMAP and tried that hint - dont work. Squirrelmail wont let to add folders with '/'-mark... It just gives a error that name is invalid. There was checkbox 1.2.11 and there is now one too in 1.4.0, before that worked but not anymore. You can check the box but it wont allow subfolder adding =( -- Jassu ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jonathan Angliss" <jo...@sq...> To: "Jassu Laivuori" <dj...@dl...> Cc: <squ...@li...> Sent: Tuesday, April 08, 2003 8:04 AM Subject: Re: [SM-USERS] cant add subfolders anymore... Here is what I did in config though and all seems to work well again, oddly enough. From main menu, selected 'D' for pre-defined settings and chose courier. Auto Create Special Folders : true 17. Folder Delete Bypasses Trash : true 18. Enable /NoSelect folder fix : true Whether or not this works for you, I dont know. Hi and thanks, that worked. I just have to modify things little bit because now squirrelmail wont recognise old subfolders anymore :) That subfolder thing has to be bug, because everything worked with previous release and not with the new 1.4.0 version... -- Jassu ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jess" <ka...@ce...> To: <squ...@li...> Sent: Tuesday, April 08, 2003 6:36 PM Subject: Re: [SM-USERS] cant add subfolders anymore... > Yes im using UW-IMAP and tried that hint - dont work. Jassu, Which part of this worked for you. I am running a test server, so I copied all my old mail files to the new server. Everything works until I try to create folders. If I tell it to contain subfolders then it doesn't show on the list. If I tell it not to it shows on the list. If I try and add something to the folder I selected it gives me the error "file exists" it seems as if someone swapped a piece of code around! Hi ! When changed to courier-settings everything started to work, unfortunately old sobfoldered folders are not readable anymore - i have to think something to solve that. I still think that is a bug in squirrelmail because with 1.2.11 folders worked correctly with uw-settings... -- Jassu ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nick Gray" <na...@au...> To: <squ...@li...> Sent: Sunday, April 13, 2003 8:17 AM Subject: Re: [SM-USERS] cant add subfolders anymore...
