How do you propose to do this? The nature of pop3 is to download the
mail from the server to the client (although the mail can be left on the
server). IMAP, on the other hand, stores the mail on the server where it
can be accessed using a webmail interface.
AFAIK, uw-imap has both options, storing all mail in an mbox format.
If you have virtual domains and are using uw-imap, use the vlogin plugin
and have your pop3 users log in via IMAP. Remind them that anything
downloaded to their clients via pop3 is no longer available to SM unless
they select to leave the mail on the server in their client configs.
