Yes... Sorry for the message that was too concise: when other plugins add links in the bottom-left area of the message list pane, a space is missing between the buttons added by Select Range and the others. You won't notice the problem if it's the only plugin that adds links in that area, or if Select range is the last plugin to do it -----Original Message----- From: squ...@li... I have a corrected version of the plugin available offlist for testing. Please remember, the SquirrelMail tracker is NOT the place to submit issues/patches/enhancements for third party software like this. Please post such information here AND directly to the author. Also, patches should always be submitted in unified diff format. Thanks. |

Hi! I would like to know if there is a way to translate plugins text, just as the rest of squirrel is. I've been looking at some sources and text is "hardcoded" not _("") like to squirrel code. -- Saludos Philippe Mingo |

> I would like to know if there is a way to translate plugins text, just > as the rest of squirrel is. Yes. First, change all "string" to _("string") and use printf or whatever if you need to. Secondly, add that to the template for translations. Third, retranslate SquirrelMail. Actually, you won't need to redo the stuff that is already there, just the new text that you added (hopefully). See this page for more information: http://learner.1lsn.com/wiki/wiki.php?LanguageTranslation |

Hi Tyler! Thanks for the answer. It's just what I thought, the problem is that when entering a plugin page (an option page or something like that) the language switches to English. Turning back to the language you choose when you are on standard squirrel pages. Another problem is that, in my opinion, plugins specific translations should be in the plugin directory. I think its a way to make us sure not to overload the squirrelmail.mo. BTW. If someone is interested on spanish translation strings for squirrel plugins he can ask me. >> I would like to know if there is a way to translate plugins text, just >> as the rest of squirrel is. > > Yes. ( it happened to me ) Not yet. The quicksave plugin will help avoid some errors (like when you click on the "Addresses" link instead of the "Addresses" button). To help make sure the session doesn't expire, just set the left folder refresh to something less than PHP's session timeout (usually 15 min). |

The quicksave plugin (1.0.0+) will save the message through session timeout. It will _not_ save the message (yet) through browser crashes. Currently, it even saves messages through logout (bug). I've got a new version 95% done, I'll release that tonight, and I'll try to get an honest Drafts plugin finished in the next day or two. It should be a piece of cake after Quicksave 1.1.0 is done... -r3- |

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello Peter, Aarg!!!! The file "/etc/fetchmail.rc" needs to be the following: ======================== cut here =================== # # This is a template file for fetchmail. This gets put at the top of # the /etc/fetchmailrc file which is created by Squirrelmail whenever # Squirrelmail updates someone's .fetchmailrc file set syslog # template # poll [server] protocol pop3 username [name in quotes] password [password in quotes] is [localname] here ======================== cut here ==================== I left it out (grrrr). The message you are getting means that it can't find /etc/fetchmailrc.in However, it should still be building a file called "/etc/fetchmailrc" which contains the commands needed for the program to run. For example, a line may look like: poll popmail.serverl.com protocol pop3 username "jbayer" password is "password" is localjbayer here Check to see if that file is there, if it is, then fetchmail should work. You can test it from the command line by issuing the command: /usr/bin/fetchmail -f /etc/fetchmailrc I'll put another version up in a day or so. The only change will be the addition of the file I left out and some instructions. JBB Thursday, August 09, 2001, 8:07:05 PM, you wrote: PDL> Hey Jonathan, PDL> Ok, So I installed the plugin. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello Peter, There is a mistake in the Makefile, and the message you are getting can be safely ignored. I'll post a new version tomorrow, but for now, edit the Makefile and update the following lines (around lines 21-22). The line begins with "wfetch" and the two lines should look the the following: wfetch: wfetch.o cc -o wfetch $(LFLAGS) wfetch.o $(LIBS) Sorry about that. I had merged two directories together and it worked on my system, but I had forgotten that the programs had already been installed, so the test failed. Due to a variety of circumstances, Peter Hutnick, the current leader of the Squirrelmail project has decided to step down. In his place, I am stepping up to lead the Squirrelmail project. In a response to a request from one of the Squirrelmail developers, I have prepared several documents which give some ideas about where the Squirrelmail project will be heading under my leadership. Please check these out, starting at this page on the Squirrelmail website. http://www.squirrelmail.org/wiki/index.php?page=SquirrelVision I appreciate the support I have received from several of the developers. I hope that I will do an adequate job living up to your expectations and the needs of the Squirrelmail project. Please feel free to contact me at any time with your thoughts, ideas, comments, criticisms, and so forth. -- Paul Joseph Thompson cap...@sq... |

Elvis users will be mentioned in > /var/vadmin/cross-admins/. In the SM data directory defined in ./conf.pl (/var/smdata/) there is a directory, name is the name of the domain specified in ./conf.pl Example.... I have a domain called zenn.com that SM and VADMIN is setup = to use. In /var/smdata there is a zenn.com directory In that directory is a file named ad...@ze... the work elvis is = listed in that file. A But any password I specify is incorrect !! The interesting thing about this is the password error. If I supply the system with a truly bad password I get "Error: The = password you provided is incorrect.. " great as it should. But if I supply the system with the password used to log into SM, I get "There is no stored password for this domain" See my answer at the top of this email, I think this problem has = something to do with no passwords listed in the passwd file. |
