I've been trying for days to get SquirrelSpell to run in safe mode. All I
ever get is "Tried to execute 'ispell -a' but it returned:" I modified
the code so that the retun code is printed, and it's always 1. I tried to
set up my safe_mode_exec_dir = "/usr/bin/" and even tried to set
safe_mode_exec_dir = "/usr/local/php_exe" then copy cat to
/usr/local/php_exe/phpcat and move ispell to /usr/local/php_exe and chown
-R nobody:nobody /usr/local/php_exe. After that I changed check_me.mod
exec("/usr/local/php_exe/phpcat $floc | $sqspell_command 2>&1",
And the sqspell_config.php ispell coomand to:
but this fails with error code 2. My PHP version is PHP Version
4.3.3-dev. Anybody got any ideas what's going on here? I really don't
wan't to run with safe_mode off.
Also, if safe_mode is off, does safe_mode_gid have any effect? I have my
PHP currently configured as:
If that actually is valid, I think it'd be okay.
