Hi, i am using SqirrelMail and the "Message Filters" Plugin. Everything is working fine, if i am using SqirrleMail. But if i am using Mozilla Mail to jeck my eMail, then the Mails are not sortet by the Filters. How i can start the Filters automaticly even if i am not login to SquirrleMail? Maybe i can ad an Cronyob to do this by LYNX? Ore is ther an other easier Way to do this? Thanks fore your Help Your Manfred |

Since I don't know if you could trigger the SM filtering via a cron, lets look at the other to options (that I know of): 1. Set up the same mail filters in Thunderbird (Mozilla mail -- http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/ ). Your issue there will be keeping the filters in sync between SM and Thunderbird. This is a crude solution at best. 2. Switch from "message filters" to either "Server Side Filter" or "SIEVE Mail Filters". Both run on the server side, so email is sorted as soon as it arrives. See http://www.squirrelmail.org/plugins_category.php?category_id=3 for the plugin info. Sam |
