A SquirrelMail DSPAM plugin is available at:
The plugin integrates a link in SquirrelMail to notify DSPAM
about missed spam mail. False positives can also be reported
to the DSPAM engine. Hover over the spam reporting link
shows you the probability DSPAM based its decision on.
When reporting a spam mail to DSPAM the plugin extracts the
DSPAM signature from the mail header and calls the engine
with the signature as a parameter. After reporting the
spam mail it is deleted according to the SquirrelMail
rules (e.g. to trash bin).
When writing or forwarding mail the DSPAM signature is
removed from the mail body.
The plugin comes with a config file where the plugin settings
has to be adapted to your local system. E.g. location of DSPAM
binary, DSPAM user, training mode, visibility of spam reporting
link for whitelisted senders, etc.
Feel free to send any comments and your experiences with the plugin.
Feedback is very welcome.
