I have an idea for a GREAT feature for the Calendar (Shared and regular). It would be cool if there was an alert for events that were scheduled for that day. Maybe like 15 or 30 minutes before the even is to occur a small window popup with a sound alerting you of the upcoming event. Is this pluggin in the works or not? My company wants to go with SM but this is the only feature holding us back. I have one, but my cron is not standard. I made one for the Sambar server and it works fine, but I don't think it would work on any other server. If anyone wants to take it and change it for a more standard cron or whatever, send me an e-mail and I will send you my changes. I think I've made it fairly modifiable as well. So just set this to run as a cron job? I don't know how portable it is between systems (particularly since Debian uses a specific squirrelmail datafile location) so glance through it and make sure. This was a once-off script so I make no guarantees about it working :) --=20 Rob Bos, rbos@{novylen.net,constainia.net,sandwich.net}, monk "We will pay the price, but we will not count the cost." -- Rush, _Bravado_ |

A while back, I wrote a modification to send an e-mail before the event. I don't know about a window pop-up, but the e-mail worked well. I'll see if I can find this.
