Can you try http://www.topolis.lt/pub/squirrelmail/1.4.3a.utf8-2/
This is 1.4.3a release with charset encoding patches ported from 1.5.1cvs
and most of translations converted to Unicode. It is experimental. Don't
file bugs against it in squirrelmail bugtracker, if you can't reproduce
same bug in vanilla 1.4.3a or 1.5.1cvs.
squirrelmail-1.4.3a.utf8-2.tar.bz2 contains squirrelmail 1.4.3a with all
modifications. Translations are removed.
squirrelmail-1.4.3a.utf8-2.diff.gz shows changes that are made. It does
not list changes made in translation files.
locales directory contains all squirrelmail translations packaged in
changes-utf8.txt lists changes that are made.
