Ok, in my haste to release a fix for this security problem, there were a few issues with 1.0.5. I have fixed most of them, and what do you think about releasing 1.0.5pl1? Think we should do that, or release 1.0.6 so soon? This release needs to happen because logging in doesn't work very well in 1.0.5. You have to log in 2 times to get it to take due to the authentication checking that we are now doing. :) (purely a bug, didn't mean it to be like that). Let me know your opinions on that. Well, since we are talking about it, can we make SquirrelMail call session_start() somewhere centralized, so 1.0.5 doesn't break half the plugins? I proposed a hack, but maybe this can really be called from auth.php or vadlidator.php? -- 0> Konstantin Riabitsev / ) http://www.mricon.com/ ~ bash-2.04# httpd & |

I def'ly think a timely 1.0.5pl1 release would help everyone. No need to call it 1.0.6 if it's not. -r3- ----- Original Message ----- From: "Luke Ehresman" <leh...@cs...> To: "Squirrelmail Developers" <squ...@li...> Sent: Tuesday, April 17, 2001 5:38 PM Subject: Problems with 1.0.5 > Ok, in my haste to release a fix for this security problem, there were a few > issues with 1.0.5.
