I've also been working on refining some of our API specifications that we
have written. Yesterday, I wrote the sqpref API for saving/reading
preferences. I also wrote an implementation of it that saves to the
filesystem like we currently have in SM1. It seems to work very well. It
is pretty simple, just 4 main functions.
I want to test it a little bit more before I post anything. I'm working
today on some of the other API specs and hopefully will get one or two more
done. Ah, the joys of being snowed in. :)
Just thought I'd keep you all up-to-date with what I'm working on, and that
the documentation and planning of SM2 is coming along VERY nicely. We are
going to really have a product that we can be proud of! It's going to be
incredible, thanks to all the help that you guys have put in through email
planning and the developers meetings. I still wish that we all could get
together sometime, but realize that this probably is out of the question.
Keep up the great work, you guys are the greatest!
