Daniel sent this (below) to me instead of to the list. Marc - did you know this exists or have you just done it? I'm also impressed :) Once I tried phpdoc on my project and it could not finish it as it needed more than 1-2 GB RAM (phpdoc stores the intermediate result in memory, they work on to use database instead). -------- Original Message -------- Subject: phpdoc Date: Fri, 20 Oct 2006 18:17:23 +0100 From: Daniel Watts <d...@ni...> To: Iavor Raytchev <iav...@ve...> I might be a complete blind idiot but I've only just come across: http://www.squirrelmail.org/docs/phpdoc/ I've never seen phpdoc output before. I'm very impressed! Should help code comprehension massively. Best, Daniel |

> Marc - did you know [phpDoc] exists or have you just done it? It's been at <squirrelmail.org> for over a year, and it's documented in the SquirrelMail Developer's Manual. phpDoc tags has been in the SquirrelMail source since at least 2002. There are actually two versions: one for DEVEL and one for STABLE (links below). This should be clarified in the documentation. Sincerely, Fredrik DEVEL CVS: http://www.squirrelmail.org/docs/ STABLE CVS: http://www.squirrelmail.org/docs/phpdoc14/ |

> I'm also impressed :) Once I tried phpdoc on my project and it could not > finish it as it needed more than 1-2 GB RAM Limit output to one template and see if it works correctly. squirrelmail.org/docs/phpdoc pages are generated on workstation with 759896 mem + 375156 swap. It takes 10-20 minutes to regenerate one html based SquirrelMail documentation set and workstation is still usable when docs are generated. Only PDF:default:default output is CPU specific and takes lots of time. You are looking at HTML:frames:default template output. HTML:frames:DOM/default template is nicer. -- Tomas |
