One of my users is uploading *.doc files as "application/applefile".
With Firefox on Windows.
Sending this to an Exchange-Server results in:
#554 5.6.0 STOREDRV.Deliver; Corrupt message content ##rfc822; error
Must be a user setting, since it doesn't happen for me.

Ask your user to show his or her mimeTypes.rdf. It is stored in firefox
profile directory. Or create custom upload form, which logs submitted file
information, and ask your user to upload some .doc file there.
