For anyone like myself, who really dislikes the feautre of having all the images from an HTML e-mail removed, and not being able to disable this tiny little unwanted feature (no offence, its a ghood feautre, but your mistake was not allowing for it to be disabled!) Follow these instructions **** PLEASE NOTE ****** Unless you are an advance user who knows a little about programming, please do not try this... But if you do MAKE SURE YOU DO STEP 2 (making a back up) If you are not an advanced 1. go to yor functions folder 2. On linux type: cp mime.php mime.old (this will back up your mime.php file) On Widnows, just make a copy. 3. On linux: vi mime.php on Windows: open with notepad 4. on linux: / sec_remove (this will find the stupid image) on Windows Find sec_remove 5. The following code if ( strtolower( substr( $src, 0, 4 ) ) == 'cid:' ) { $src = substr( $src, 4 ); $src = "../src/download.php? absolute_dl=true&passed_id=$id&mailbox=" . urlencode( $message->header->mailbox ) . "&passed_ent_id=" . find_ent_id( $src, $message ); } else if ( strtolower( substr( $src, 0, 4 ) ) <> 'http' || stristr( $src, $base_uri ) ) { /* Javascript and local urls goes out */ $src = '../images/' . _("sec_remove_eng.png"); } On linux press dd while not in insert mode. On windows Just delete it -- Matthew Koster Web/System Administrator http://www.kronos3.com http://www.lostnode.net |
