It has a good many improvements from a GUI standpoint, and has vastly better plugin support. Updates to the 1.1.x tree are dwindling, as I think there are very few complaints to be made about the existing code, so these updates are either cosmetic or completely new features. It's also worth noting that all or nearly all of the developers feel confident enough in the 1.1.x branch to have limited their development of plugins and the like to that branch alone. I try to create plugins that will work across both the stable and development branches (quicksave/printer friendly/email footer/etc.), but I run 1.1.x because it's the best :) -r3- |
