Coming into this WAY late (I'm a month behind on reading the list, been a
BUSY month).  Doesn't look like you've gotten a real solution yet.  There
is one simple way to do this, if you can bring yourself to run Outlook
Express for a few minutes.  Add two accounts to OE - one for Hotmail, the
other for the IMAP server.  You can then move messages between the two
accounts.
