Sorry for the generic subject, but there is not just one specific symptom I am trying to address... I'm new to Squirrelmail and have it up and running on my server for just over a week. (Server: Apache 1.3.33, PHP 5.2.0, MySQL 4.1.1.0, UW IMAP) I'm using Squirrelmail 1.5.1, which I know is still in development. My plug-in list is at the end of this message. Please let me know if there is any additional information you need. I am experiencing several issues which may or may not be related, or may all be a result of one issue I've managed to identify. Any help or direction is very much appreciated. The first issue I experienced is a problem with the Compatibility plug-in. When I add it to the plug-ins folder, my login screen turns up blank - no source at all. This looks to me like a PHP parsing error. This happens whether or not I "activate" the plug-in, and the symptom goes away as soon as I remove the compatibility folder from my plug-ins folder. Neither PHP nor Apache report any errors in the log (all errors, notices, etc. are set to log and display in php.ini). I noticed that the compatibility/functions.php and the include for 1.5.1 (globals.php) both lack a closing tag ("?>") at the end of the file. I added it, and no change. After tinkering a bit, I found that if I commented the line in compatibility/functions.php calling the legacy support function ("load_legacy_support():") that all worked just fine. I am sure that this is disabling something I haven't seen yet, but it seems to allow use... Second issue: I added the preview_pane plug-in, and initially it did nothing (after turning on the setting in my user preferences...). After logging in and out twice, the pane appeared. However, the pane is empty. it has the background color, but no content. The frame source is: <html> <head> </head> <body text="#102070" bgcolor="#e8ecf6" link="#206090" vlink="#206090" alink="#206090"> </body> </html> (I removed a few line breaks for inclusion in this message) I've poked around in the code a bit, but don't know where to look for this one. I suspect that it is related to the compatibility issue described above, but I can't see how to get around both of them. Third issue: I wrote in an earlier post about external calendars showing no events after indicating a successful link. This may be due to me not linking to the right format (does anyone know what format the external calendar needs to be in?? or have an example?), but I mention it again just in case it is related to the above two items. Last item: I installed the spam_buttons plugin, and found that no buttons appeared on the message list display. I assume this is related to the bug already reported (message list display hook disabled in 1.5.1) and not yet addressed. However, the buttons did for a while display on the individual message reading display. Now they don't. I have not tried yet to diagnose this issue, but I mention it here in case it is somehow related to any of the above. Any ideas, suggestions, direction or information about how I can diagnose these issues, and fix them (or letting me know that they are known issues and being addressed in some way...) would be most helpful.
