After symlinking .conf to vadmin.conf in order to bypass the SQ main logi= n error =09FATAL ERROR: vadmin config file '../plugins/vadmin/conf/.conf' does no= t exist. and fixing *my* path errors this seems to function well Although I only have it setup to view the info so far. I have one question. From sql.conf =23 domain_password_query =23 The SQL query that will validate the password for the given domain.= The =23 query should return 1 if the given domain and password pair correct= ly =23 match and 0 (zero) if they do not, usually by counting the number o= f rows =23 that match the pair. If you do not keep domain passwords, you will = have =23 to improvise - one idea is to have the password be the same as the = domain, =23 so this query would be similar to the domain_list_query except that= it has =23 two WHERE clauses that both ask the domain name to match the given =23 password and domain. =23 =23 =241 in this query will be replaced with the domain name =23 =242 in this query will be replaced with the password =23 ;domain_password_query =3D SELECT count(*) FROM domain_administration WHE= RE domain =3D '=241' AND crypt_password =3D encrypt('=242', crypt_password) ;domain_password_query =3D SELECT IF(count(*), 1, 0) FROM email_users WHE= RE domain =3D '=241' AND domain =3D '=242' I'd like to use the first example but I do not have an =22Domain Password= =22. I do have a =22domain admin=22 username that is ALWAYS admin=40whatever_domain. How do I place that in the first example? I've tried the following... ('PASSWORD' =3D Database field that contains= encrypted password) domain_password_query =3D SELECT count(*) FROM domain_administration WHER= E username =3D admin=40'=241' AND PASSWORD =3D encrypt('=242', PASSWORD) domain_password_query =3D SELECT count(*) FROM domain_administration WHER= E username =3D 'admin=40=241' AND PASSWORD =3D encrypt('=242', PASSWORD) domain_password_query =3D SELECT count(*) FROM domain_administration WHER= E username =3D admin=40 . '=241' AND PASSWORD =3D encrypt('=242', PASSWORD) and prob a few more but.. always get the following error... SYSTEM ERROR: Could not query domain password=21. We apologize for the in= convenience, but your request cannot be completed at this time. Please contact your system= administrator if the problem persists. Currently I have it set as below in order to get moving forward. domain_password_query =3D SELECT count(*) FROM domain_admins WHERE domain= =3D '=241' AND domain =3D '=242' Thank you Charles Andrews |
