This whole ldap and PAM and Cyrus and postfix stuff is somewhat difficult. Yesterday I had tears in the eyes because I didn't understand how all this works together. Now as next I have to read a PAM-howto to understand also this one. Then sasl.... mechs and methods and php and perl and sieve and ... :-) Thank you, I'm glad all works with Squirrel now so far. Ah, here is the next one: raid0 sshd[23079]: pam_ldap: error trying to bind as user \ "cn=root,ou=mail,o=site,dc=meyer,dc=home" (Invalid credentials) I think this tells me that even the login to the system is handled by ldap, which it should be. :-) I'll get it! -- Andreas Meyer Windows has detected that a gnat has farted near your computer.
