Hello, We (happycoders association [1]) tried to use squirrelmail with One Time Password authentication. We tried to patch squirrelmail to add OTP auth, but this require a persistent IMAP connection. The php pfsockopen function is not appropriate since there is a persistent connection per HTTPD process. To solve this problem, we have implemented a small multi-threaded IMAP wrapper [2] who replace the LOGIN command by an OTP authentication. This wrapper keep persistent connection with the IMAP server during a small time. We also created a small patch [3] for squirrelmail to close the persistent connection when user signout from squirrelmail by using OTP-LOGOUT command. This mail was just to inform you that it is now possible to use squirrelmail with OTP authentication :) Best Regards.
